Pacific 12 and Big Ten plan joint venture in College athletics
On Wednesday, the Pacific-12 and Big Ten Conference announced an arrangement partnership to take outcome in 2017 for all sports, but it will crash football the most.
Nonconference games will be listed by both conferences in an effort to widen the national scope of both conferences. New effort will continue to open out as administrators and conference staff members meet in the coming year.
The Pacific 12 is expected to keep its nine game conference football list and then have all teams play one of the Big Ten teams. Big ten’s Minnesota listed in 2017 and 2018. The Beavers go there first and then Minnesota comes to Corvallis.
We trust that both of the conferences can preserve that intellect of collegiality and still grow nationally by influence our commonalities in a way that remuneration student athletes, fans and alumni.

Women are willing to move into college athletic departments
Lisa Love was 24 years old and in graduate school and then the career adviser asked her what she supposed to do with masters in educational administration.
I said I had liked to be an athletic director of a big-time school, big football school, big basketball school, Big Olympic sport school।" Love said. "He said, Women don't characteristically do that, and you don't have any position models. I said, 'I know, and I don't know if the glass ceiling is penetrable or not, but I'd love to have an opportunity to try my hand at it.
In 2005, at the age of 49 in Arizona State University hired Love as vice president for athletics, the highest ranking job in the department. Six years later she is one of just five women to occupy the top athletics directorial position at a Division I-A school.
Some believe the lack of women serving as athletic directors is about to change, with qualified women rising up the ranks.

Excellent Time for College Athletics in West Virginia
West Virginia is one of the smallest States. But, we are a proud people. There may not be many of us, and we have a lot of obstacles to overcome in many areas, but we are still a self-important people. We have forever had a strong sense of community, particularly when it comes to sports and athletics.
We are surely have much to be proud of and excited about. This is an actually good time for college sports in our state.

Wigan Athletic v Chelsea – Wigan Vs Chelsea Preview
Chelsea, who is in a positive mood after a home victory over the league leaders Man and then travel to DW stadium on Saturday to take on Wigan Athletic who are currently 18th on the table. Wigan has been able to record just one win in their last the 12 League meetings with Chelsea.
Chelsea would have some reminiscences of being beaten by 3: 1 at the DW stadium which finished their winning streak in the 2009/10 season. Wigan hasn’t been able to create most of the home benefit count this season.

Six game high school event at Assembly Hall in January
A National Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball regulation accepted in April prohibiting "nonscholastic events" on campuses has resulted in mystification among the event operators, colleges and high schools. It may be caused the termination of several high school basketball events for few days before they were to take place. The cancellations have cost high schools as much as 2,000 dollars according to athletic directors.
Recently Big Rivals Weekend at Hinkle Fieldhouse planned as a six-game high school event well thought out by Ray Compton of Compton Strategies. Compton became attentive of the problem Thursday night when an Indiana University compliance officer called him and after a discussion with the National Collegiate Athletic Association to say it looked unlikely that his company would be capable to host a six-game high school event at Assembly Hall in January.

Boise State University President given a Christmas present
On Wednesday, Boise State University President Dr. Bob opened his press conference announcing his school’s entry into the Big East given a Christmas present. There is no doubt, left the university’s chemistry professors, football coaches, students and salivating to undo wads of new-conference cash for their individual departments.
The Boise State university president make sure to point out the success and the school’s athletic department runs on an extremely low budget. One people should be expecting to grow and drink some of that new money gushing in from TV deals and other Big East-related ventures.
I don’t think it is unreasonable, Kustra said, to assume that the way Notre Dame went about is the way we are going about it and if we do this right we can have the same degree of success.
Kustra admitted he likely wouldn’t be around to see his university reach the level and also promised to come back and check it out wherever he might find himself.

New Website was launched for the Bobcat Athletic Department
On Friday October 28 th, a new era began with Peru State Bobcat College’s Athletic Department. Thanks to the hold up and support of the College’s administration, the Athletic Department began a partnership with SIDEARM SPORTS and launched a new website for its athletic programs and you have to get the information through this site www.pscbobcats.com.

Throughout the 2010-11 year, persons in the sports information department talked about some possible changes that were wanted in order to get better upon the existing website. During the procedure, many different college and university athletic websites were reviewed. It was found that many schools like in size to Peru State were using web-based content management systems. It appeared the two main ones were SIDEARM SPORTS and SID Help.

In reaction to multiple requirements for information concerning Hugh Freeze's type as Arkansas State's head football coach and his level of participation in the continuing searches for a head football coach at a mixture of NCAA FBS Institutions.
We have established a request from Miss, and Ole Miss only, to visit with Coach Freeze, and we have decided them authorization to speak with him," said ASU Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee.
We think it is unsuitable to remark publicly on another institution search for a head football coach at this occasion.

Con Ed Athlete of the Week
When you go through a look at his resume there isn’t a whole a lot that Kyle has not able on the football field for Croton-Harmon.
A 5 year member and 4 year 2 way starter Kyle defense helped the Tigers to other state to final appearance this season.
In Croton-Harmon's at the regional championship win against Marlboro, Kyle Ricciardi was named the lineman of the game after causal a sack to a Tigers defense that allowed just 7 yards of offense.
